How do I connect to the grid?

Grid connections involve connecting properties to low voltage (LV) cable networks so that they can receive electricity from the national grid. Our team of electrical engineers will manage all aspects of your energy connection, working alongside other contractors on site and delivering well within the time-constraints of your project. As a fully NERS accredited ICP we pride ourselves on being able to connect you to any network in the UK.

What is the grid?

The high voltage power-lines that make up the national grid network is what makes electricity distribution possible. There are a range of Distribution Network Operators (DNO’s) across the UK. An you’ll have a specific DNO for your part of the country that is responsible for distributing electricity to homes and businesses in your area. Our grid connections team make the connection from the national grid to you home and we’re fully accredited to this in any part of the UK.
