Molly Taylor returns to FIA RX2e Championship with continued support from E.ON
As a trailblazer for women in motorsport, E.ON Next Veloce Racing driver Molly Taylor will compete in two rounds of the FIA RX2e Championship.
Molly Taylor is set to compete in two rounds of the FIA RX2e Championship as her collaboration with Veloce Racing’s partner E.ON Next continues to drive opportunities for women in sport. Taylor will be racing in RX2e – the all-electric support series for the FIA World Rallycross Championship – as part of the Hansen Motorsport junior team #YellowSquad.
The RX2e championship is scheduled across four rounds for 2024, with the opening round taking place in Höljes, Sweden, next weekend (6-7 July). Taylor will be entering the rallycross action at the season-opener, before returning to the fray for the season finale in Montalegre, Portugal (7-8 September).
Taylor’s 2024 RX2e campaign represents a continuation from last year, when she made her debut in the championship. With the support of E.ON and #YellowSquad, Taylor took to the track at Mettet in Belgium (August 5-6), before competing in the championship showdown at Estering in Germany (August 19-20).

I had my first taste of rallycross last season, and I learnt a lot, so I’m looking forward to putting everything I experienced last season back into practice.”

Molly (pictured left) recently sat alongside Amber Wildgust, Head of Women and Girls Football at Nottingham Forest, at the E.ON Women in Sport Forum and discussed the current landscape for women in the industry and the future change we all need to see.
The event, which held three separate panels to discuss women in sport across topics such as the media, high performance, and the business of sport, saw nine panellists take to the stage in front of a young and engaged audience at the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Sheffield.
Currently in contention for the Extreme E title alongside teammate Kevin Hansen – having taken two podiums at the season-opening Desert X Prix with E.ON Next Veloce Racing – Taylor’s return to the #YellowSquad team positions her within the Hansen Motorsport network.
Taylor will be looking to build upon the legacy of females both within rallycross and within the Hansen team. Susann Hansen, Manager for the Hansen World RX Team, became the first and so-far only female to win a European Rallycross title when she secured the 1400 Cup crown in 1994.
Lining up in Höljes in the single-specification, 270kW, four-wheel-drive all-electric RX2e machine sporting the distinctive E.ON colours, Taylor will join full-time #YellowSquad driver Isak Sjökvist, who enters the 2024 season having finished second in the 2023 RX2e championship standings.
The FIA RX2e series will be supporting four rounds of the FIA World Rallycross Championship for 2024, in Sweden, Hungary (27-28 July), Belgium (17-18 August) and Portugal, with Taylor competing at the opening and closing rounds.
